Do you think innovation is important? And do you want to learn how to innovate?

Than you are very welcome to join the program Business Innovation & Internship. The most fun and challenging way to develop your skills and leadership as an entrepreneur and business innovator.  

The program combines 10 weeks at the university with an internship at a company. Firstly you develop at HAS your own business idea into a business concept or you develop one for a company.  Secondly you do an internship at a company to realize your business concept or you develop a second new business innovation for the company.

You learn and work both individually and in a small group with a personal coach. Learning will be blended at school, in business at the company and online. Everything to help you to develop yourself to the utmost, to have a good time and to come up with a valuable innovation. An innovation that contributes to the 3 P’s of People, Planet, Profit, with happy customers, a better environment and the company has a better position and last but not least, a great experience to look back at. Former students will agree on this.

About the program

Together with a group of students, entrepreneurs and lecturers you will set to work on your own idea or an entrepreneur’s demand for a new business concept. By going out and visiting customers, possible partners and companies and by working as a team you will develop a network and get inspired. Interactive lectures, guest speakers, seminars and network meetings will help you along.

The combination of realising your ambitions, a high degree of freedom, intensive mutual coaching and tight continuity planning is what makes this program special. You learn to develop a business concept in a short period of time and you learn a lot about entrepreneurship, sales and innovation.

Learning goals

After completing this program:

  • you will be able to develop an idea into a business model
  • you will have developed an entrepreneurial attitude by working at HAS ánd at a company
  • you are able to apply a business model (Business model Canvas or similar).
  • you are able to network to realise your ideas in real life at a company
  • you will be able to apply strategic management in your own company or on behalf of a third party
  • you will have trained your sales skills
  • you know your strengths and how to use them
