Are you going to develop an interactive map about the impact of native exotics in our country, or design an app that calculates the shortest route to a charging station for electric cars? The Applied Geo-Information Science bachelor programme puts you in a position to provide insight into spatial challenges related to current topics, such as urbanisation, flooding and biodiversity.

This is a Dutch-taught programme. Students must therefore be sufficient in the Dutch language to enroll. Read the admission requirements on this page for more information.

Curriculum

About the programme

At Applied Geo-Information Science, you’ll explore the world of virtual and augmented reality for four years. You will be performing data analysis and data visualisation, for instance in infographics. And you will be taught a solid dose of geography. You will learn how to design information about place and time in an enticing and creative way, using new media such as smartphones, tablets and apps. You can do so for instance in the Geo Lab, where you will be working with the latest hardware and software on spatial solutions.
