The Verkadefabriek serves great food, has the best films and puts on a complete range of music and theatre performances. Including the annual Film & Food Festival, in collaboration with HAS University of Applied Sciences.
Are you looking for a good place to eat? The Korte Putstraat is the Den Bosch restaurant street, with fantastic and varied eating establishments. But there are also lots of other streets offering a wide variety of restaurants. You can also try the famous Bossche Bol giant-sized profiterole at De Groot, near the central station. Even our student union, Gremio Unio, has its own place at the Wolvenhoek, in the heart of Den Bosch city centre.
There’s also plenty to see when it comes to art and culture. The city radiates culture and history: from the Sint Jan (St. John’s) cathedral, impressive murals, to the city’s fortified defences and the statues by the famous renaissance artist, Jheronimus Bosch, which can be found throughout the city centre. And in the centuries’ old market square, under the watchful gaze of Jheronimus Bosch himself, you can enjoy one of the many terraces. As long as you still make time for your studies!

Student Sport Card
Students of HAS University of Applied Sciences can sport at Sportiom with a student discount. To obtain this card you need to show your student card of HAS University of Applied Sciences.
