The admission requirement for this 4-year Bachelor programme is a secondary school diploma, equivalent to the Dutch HAVO diploma, with the final-year subject mathematics. Practical (work-) experience is beneficial but not obligatory. The level of your diploma will be assessed after HAS has received your complete application form. GCSE in at least 4 subjects (grade A-C) and GCE with at least 2 subjects at advanced subsidiary level (in 6 different subjects).

If you are deficient in Mathematics as an international student you have the opportunity to participate in an online Mathematics deficiency test of HAS University of Applied Sciences. You will receive more information about the test from the International Office if you are deficient.
Once you start the test you will have 1 hour to complete it. You need a reliable internet connection to take the test. Costs of the test are €35,-. You will need to pay this fee at least 1 week before the start of the test. Please note that you can only take the test once, there is no re-take possibility.
Please note that after you have passed the deficiency test you will not receive a diploma or certificate. To pass the test you need to have obtained at least 5.5 points on a scale of 1-10. If you pass the test, you will meet the admission requirements of HAS University of Applied Sciences and will therefore be admitted to the programme if you also meet all other admission requirements. The results of the test cannot be used to meet the admission requirements at other universities in the Netherlands.
